This is our entry level hardtail mountain bike. If you live for the mountains and yearn to explore untamed wilderness, this bike is for you. Featuring a robust 750W output to the wheels from a stout performance mid drive system, this bike is engineered to take you places a normal hub motor bike cannot. Steep climbs are a breeze with this motor system. Since the motor utilizes the bikes own gearing, efficiency in mountainous areas is up to 200% better than a comparable hub motor drive system.
This do it all e-bike is equally suited for hunters who want to venture way back into the wilderness and get as much range as possible or for college stundents looking for a silent, powerful daily commuter that will climb any hill he or she may encounter along the way. Since you can use all 9 speeds of the bike with your motor, your top speed can vary from 7 mph with huge torque for hill climbing to 25 mph on the straightaways- all with one motor!
The eXplorer is a great looking MTB that performs as well as it looks. It’s provided Rockshox XC 32 suspension fork is tough, high quality, and offers 120mm of travel to soak up the bumps! A full SRAM X-5 shifter and rear derailleur system ensures shifts are quick and efficient. Our custom profile chainring allows for noise levels at or below a direct drive hub motor system which is quite an accomplishment in itself (1200W/1500W Systems).
Power Package: Choose your power package- 750W is 36V and street legal in every U.S. state. 1200W offers a huge boost in power and hill climbing and is street legal in pedal assist modes 1-7. 1500W is our most powerful system and comes with a special 965Wh battery for a range of up to 50 miles!
Battery Options: Choose your battery. Standard is a 36V 11.5Ah for the 750W system, a 48V 11.5Ah for the 1200W system, and an 56V 17.4Ah battery for the 1500W system. If you choose a 1500W system, you must choose the 1500W battery in the option field above. If you want more range out of your 750W or 1200W system, you can choose from an optional 12.5Ah or a 17.4Ah battery system.
